Hey guys, B's bro came to visit from Germany and wanted us to vacation with him so we been running around like crazy and I haven't had time to post much! This is his first trip to the states and we are trying to show him everything and still get some sleep here and there! First we showed him SILO of course, then to Nashville, Tenn, and then to Paducah Ky, and now in Saint Louis, Mo. Next stop is Chicago, Il. and they are thinkng about going to Nigara Falls, NY too but it's quite a drive so IDK if they will go or not! So far they are having a blast! Here's a few from above! This is inside the TOP of the arch looking out to the CITY...  This is looking across the mississippi river looking into Illinois!  And the famous arch!

Looks like you are giving them the whirlwind tour LOL... I'm sure they really appreciate it.. wish I had your vacation budget.. we can't even afford to go to the county lake for the weekend LOL |

Were back finally and worn out!!! They went on to Chi-town and we came back home because B had to work and have therapy!! B's bro paid for it all so I didn't have to budget, he thought everything was so cheap here???? Even the gas, he said their's is like 8.75 a gallon or something like that!! We are thinking about possibly going over to Germany now but well see! ....I checked on the euro-dollar and 3000 usd and it's only worth 2014 EUROS so that would SUCK!, but it would still be nice to meet the rest of his family and see where they all lived and such....Oh and all the photo opts too!!! Gena hows a tent out back with access to the house?  |

I'm sure stuff did seem less expensive to them given the dollar / Euro conversion rate right now.. and since their gas is done in liters.. a gallon there is going to be more expensive... that always triped me up buying fuel for the truck in Canada.. I always had to remember to do the conversion from liters to gallons.. LOL |

Yea he told us in liters and then we figured it out to the gallon....I told him if we came we came to visit the country we would have to horseback at that price! lol..... He said he bought a little cheap ford focus for his wife and it was 36,000! I couldn't believe it...lol...I told him he could have bought 2 here for that price here! |

Yes we did, eps. in nashville...he loved music city!! It was so neat to experience America with someone for the first time! They can't wait to come back!!! They didn't make it to Nigara Falls this time....after driving back up to chi-town 5 hours it was gonna be another 8 hours or so...and that was too long of a trip for them this time.... |
