Great job by everyone and great participation this week. I'm going out of town tomorrow so KC will be your substitute teacher for this coming week. Don't give him any trouble! Here's my thoughts on everyone's work for this week. Feel free to chime in if you have any additional thoughts or comments on anyone's work. Or if you don't agree with me.

Pat:

While you did complete the task of making reflection images, I think they really lack in creativity and subject matter. You should try to make it so that there is an interesting and defined subject in your reflection. Does this sense? I've seen your work so I know you're capable of more! I think if you try again you could do something pretty cool with the fish tank. You might even get good reflection out of the tank itself. So with a little more effort I know you could have some really good stuff.

Toma:

Good reflection and I think it's an interesting subject because I don't know what it is. Is it a Christmas ornament or something? As far as completing the task, you did a good job. However, I know you can do better than this! I know you have an abundance of creativity in you. It's a little snap shotish for me. As far as technicalities though you did a good job. Sharp image with good contrast and color.

Nick:

Nice work. Pretty creative shots, especially the CD. It's one thing to just make a reflection in a CD, but you went a little adove and beyond and make it even more interesting and added a little humor in it. I like the light buld one as well. It's not very reflective, but I think it's interesting that there's reflections of lights in a light. Pretty cool. Nice work.

Kikals:

Very impressive work this week. Way to think outside the box on these ones. I especially like the knife reflection. Most of us have shinny knives and such and never think to use them to make a good photograph. Great job on all of them.

Adamaske:

I like your use of the mirror. I think it especially work on the one with the bird, becasue it loks as though the bird is admiring itself. Also a good CD reflection. It can be hard to actually expose and focus correctly on a CD, so good job.

Gretchen:

Very cool shot. You have a real advantage being around these reflective beauties all the time! I think next I'd like to see an action reflection shot. For example, you getting a reflection shot of yourself in another bike while on yours. Make sense? I'm sure you can do it. ut good work here.

Blue:

While these shots do have a reflection in them, it's really not at all the main subject. Don't get me wrong, they're very cool shots, but I was hoping to see the reflection more as the main focus of the image.

Faceless:

The first one is a good reflection shot, but the second one is terrific. I'm sure it's an old one because there's probably not that much ice this time of year. Great shot though. Good reflection, good comp, good everything.

KC:

Now I know you're not happy with these, but I think the first one is pretty cool. I lov ethe expression on the girl's face, and I can't help but love the D200. So for those two reasons, I think it's a great shot!

MDE:

Beautiful shot. Good subject, great reflection, good composition. Very well done all around.

Mini:

For your first attempt at a reflection, you did a great job on the first one. It's a little soft, but it's a good reflection. If this is a spot you can get back to, you should go there and practice. You're off to a great start on this one and I think you could really do something good with it.

Traci:

Great work! I think you have a wonderful ability to create a beautiful scene. You get a definite A for all your effort to set this one up. I like the second one. Great expression on her face in both of them.

Gretchen:

I like your second set here better. Especially the second one here. I don't know if it was intentional but it kind of tells a story of wanting to go outside by having the reflection looking out the window. The Cd shot is also a good one. Great vibrant colors and lighting. Good work!

Storm:

Good shots this week. I like how you took the time to get a lot of diverse shots. I especially like the one with the TV. Very creative shot. I think you should submit that one into the contest. There's just something special about it that I can't quite put into words. I really like that shot though.

Nettie:

Very creative as always. My favorite is the one of you. I have no idea what the reflection is in, but it's a great shot. I like how you covered the flash as well. It made for some really interesting lighting. I like the first one too. Goo job of getting out there and seeing all the things in your world that give reflections. Nice work.

Toma:

I certainly can't say that you've lost your marbles because you're doing wonderful work with them! There's not a whole lot of relfection in them, but they give off great color and vibrance. Nice work.

Nikimoto:

I'm not even going to waste my time on these last three. Simply wonderful and I'm sure you already know that. These are great examples for everyone else to see. Great work.

Nice work everyone. Sorry this was a little late!
